No multiple providers, no double or triple booking, no wasted time with repeating yourself and repeating the same monotonous treatment.
From orthopedic and sports injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation, back and neck pain, mobility concerns, and performance-focused care, Sound Movement combines evidence-based treatment, hands-on expertise, and purposeful movement to create a better physical therapy experience.
Rooted in the shoreline community, Sound Movement offers the expertise of advanced clinical care with the personal attention of a local practice—helping patients of all ages and activity levels move stronger, recover smarter, and feel their best for the long term.
Meet Nicholas Bessette PT, DPT
Nicholas Bessette is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the founder of Sound Movement Physical Therapy, bringing nearly a decade of clinical experience and a passion for helping people move better, recover stronger, and stay active for the long term.
Nick graduated with a bachelor's degree in health science studies in 2014 and a doctorate in physical therapy in 2017 from Quinnipiac University. He is a certified Mulligan practitioner and is certified in advanced trigger point dry needling. He graduated from a year-long residency program in 2021 and became an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) in 2022. He also recently became a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified provider. He brings an upbeat, fun-loving atmosphere to each physical therapy session. He has a special interest in rehabilitation of sports-related conditions and various pathologies of the shoulder and hip. He resides in Clinton with his wife, two kids, and their golden doodle. Nick loves to stay active with running and CrossFit, as well as following his favorite Boston sports teams.
Nick founded Sound Movement with a simple belief: physical therapy should be personal. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, he focuses on understanding the root cause of each patient’s limitations and developing an individualized plan built around their goals, lifestyle, and the activities that matter most to them.
At Sound Movement, Nick combines evidence-based treatment, hands-on care, strength and movement training, and patient education to help people not only recover from injury, but become more confident and capable in how they move.
His goal is simple: help every patient move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love.
